1:08 AM has found me here at this lonely desk, attempting to write out the words that have burned holes in my heart over the last year of my life. For the first time in weeks I can clearly feel the spirit of God near me, reminding me that I am His, and that He loves me despite all of my fears. Oh how numerous are my fears!
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7
I’ve committed to take the next five days off to finish off the book I’ve been working on for the last six months. Which is why I am 300 miles from home sitting in a hotel room overlooking the mountains of Arkansas.
Pray that God would speak through my fingers as they hit the keys on my laptop. It’s all about Him.
